Delmar Waddell

Dr. Delmar W. Waddell, 84, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2011. He was buried with full Military Honors.

Born in Oklahoma City, he got to Texas as fast as he could. Upon graduating from Reagan HS, Bill served 2 years in the Navy as a RM3. He worked at S. P. Railroad for 20 yrs where he attended U of H for the last 3 before starting UTMB at Galveston. He graduated in 1967 with a wife, 3 children and one on the way.

Bill was blessed with a great Medical Practice and patients that loved him dearly. He enjoyed church, playing his trumpet, Tin Can Sailors, snow skiing, and being a Papaw.

Bill is survived by his sister, Wanda W. Weeden, his wife, Barbara F. Waddell; children Barbara W. Williams, Christopher P. Waddell and S. Christopher Freeman, their spouses and 5 grandchildren. Preceded to the promised land by his son, Richard A. Waddell, his daughter, Dawn E. Hill and first wife, Elouise C. Waddell.  For more information, Email BarbieW27@gmail.com
